It's raining in Istanbul this morning. My eyes are overflowing for unknown reasons. Innocently, as if following my mother's words,* I cried this morning. The days have become unbearable when far from you, The seagulls have become depressed, even they've cried. Thinking about you in songs doesn't bring you to me, They don't bring you to me, They don't bring you to me.

* This line is a bit hard to explain. It's implied here that when listening to what your mother says, you can't possibly be doing something wrong, and in that manner you are innocent (somewhat, like a child).
