Featured Artists : Nilüfer I grew up exposed to Nilüfer as being the princess of Turkish pop music. She has been in the spotlight since she has been in her teens, and was also one of the earlier singers of pop music. She has a deep, strong voice with a wide range. I'm more a fan of her earlier works, as her later songs tend to incorporate a lot more techno dance beats and such things. Regardless, I can't think of Turkish pop music without thinking of Nilüfer. She has numerous albums out, so it's hard to classify her songs into a single genre. She has also been successful at moving with the times and changing her image. I went to one of her concerts and at the end a speaker said, as he gave Nilüfer a bouquet of roses, "Nilüfer makes our lives that much more enjoyable."
