Tarık is a one-man poet (he writes most of his songs) and guitar player. I believe he got his claim to fame from a Turkish reality series. He has a nice voice and can play the guitar well.

Personally, I have two songs of Tarık that I really like (Of Deni Gönül and Öpmeye Doyamam Seni), and then the rest aren't favorites in my book but they're still good. His stuff's not techno or dance, which is a nice variation from the trendy pop that was coming out during the time he got popular. I like his voice and the general feel of his music, which are very down to earth.
