Paramparça is a part of PrettySenshi.com, a collective of various websites that I have created and maintain. Paramparça was open to the public on January 1st 2003. My name is Zeynep. If you feel like contacting me for any number of reasons, e-mail me! I'd love to hear if I've interested you in Turkish pop, or if you noticed something that needs correcting. However, please keep in mind that I do not take translation requests.

This site is an archive; I probably won't be updating it until summer rolls around. I go to Turkey every summer and I bring back with me a whole bunch of new songs that I fell in love with during my stay. At the moment there are a total of 194 songs translated.

Amazon also has some CD's of Turkish artists, but not too large a selection. If you know of other places that I should post here, feel free to tell me so I can share the wisdom.

The short song clips in the Featured Artists section are all less than 30 seconds long and run at 48kps. They are meant as samples to encourage buying the actual CDs. I do not claim any of these artists' work as my own, and this website is solely a fan tribute.
